Medisort is proud to be supporting Daniel Parsons of Veolia in his effort to raise much needed funds for a local family fund called “Archie’s Heroes”

On the 27th October he will be taking part in the Great South Run, which is a gruelling 10 mile, fast route around the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Archie was born on 11th October 2011. He had no heartbeat for 11 minutes and as a result suffered widespread severe brain damage. It was not thought that he would survive very long and if he did, the prognosis was very bleak.

Archie spent 15 days on NICU where he started showing us what he was made of. They said he would never feed orally, he does. They said he’d never smile. He does. He has a laugh which melts your heart.

Archie is such a fighter and we would be doing him an injustice if we didn’t fight for him too. Archie’s parents are accessing a variety of therapies which are not currently available on the NHS and these have had huge impact on him already. They are raising money to help continue accessing these therapies and to seek out future therapies.

Archie’s Mum Vicky has set up a link for Just Giving – If you would like to contribute too, view Victoria Cleaver’s Just Giving Page.
